Dennis D Dice

Dice Yadkinville- Mr. Dennis D. Dice, 83, of Old US 421 Highway East passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his home. He was born December 11, 1932 in Pennsylvania to the late Walter H. Dice, Sr., and Edna O. Dice. Mr. Dice was retired from A.T.&T. with over 30 years of service as an engineer. He was a member and worked with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Association (I.E.E.E.), and was always willing to help other friends and colleagues on various projects. Mr. Dice was a faithful member of Forbush Baptist Church where he served the church as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Choir member, and was also a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife , Kathryn M. Dice in 2013; by a nephew, Troy Dice; and by his brother, Walter H. Dice, Jr. Surviving are his nephew, Walter Wayne Dice of Sparta, NC; sister-in-law, Sandra Sutton, of Kinston, NC; a niece, Jessica S. Leggett and husband, Michael of Raleigh; great-niece, Charlotte Leggett; and his beloved Forbush Baptist Church Family. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 PM Saturday at Forbush Baptist Church. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary by Rev. Grady Trivette and Rev. Joe Souther. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Forbush Baptist Church, 3917 Old Hwy 421 East, Yadkinville NC 27055.
