Lucy Church Hutchens

Hutchens Yadkinville – Lucy Emma Church Hutchens, 85, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. She was born July 18, 1931 in Yadkin County to the late Richard Finley Church and Edna Myers Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death her husband, Marshall Ray Hutchens; daughter, Regena Chappel; granddaughter, Angel Wishon; four sisters. Surviving are her children, Marie Chappel, Christine (Terry) Hartle, Dorothy (Joe) Gibbs, Rita (Robert) Buck, Chris (Misty) Chappel; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brother, Allen (Glenda) Church; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville. Burial will follow at Harmony Grove Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Flowers accepted or memorials can be made to the Donor’s Choice.
