Glyce Ray Hinshaw

Boonville Mr. Glyce Ray Hinshaw, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Pruitt Healthcare. Mr. Hinshaw was born November 5, 1931 in Yadkin County to Gurnie and Irma Hobson Hinshaw. He was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Hinshaw enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hinshaw was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Miles Hinshaw; and two brothers, Howell Hinshaw and Franklin Hinshaw. He is survived by three children, Tony Hinshaw, Debbie (Harold) Haynes, and Barbie (Ken) Felts; three grandchildren, Stephanie Hinshaw, Jake Hinshaw, and Ashley Felts; one step grandchild, Heather Anderson; one great grandson, Ty Anderson; two brothers, Paul (Letty) Hinshaw and Gray (Hazel) Hinshaw; and two sisters-in-law, Jeanette Hinshaw and Louise Hinshaw. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 5:00PM at Richmond Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Pastor Roger Jennings officiating. Mr. Hinshaw will lie in state from 11:00AM to 4:00PM prior to the service at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Pruitt Healthcare for the loving care given to Mr. Hinshaw.
