Jimmy Darold Walker

Jimmy Darold Walker, 60, passed away Tuesday October 25, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Walker was born February 26, 1956 to the late Hugh Walker and Nellie Childress Smith. Mr. Walker enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, being around people and making them laugh. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his special aunt Callie and Charles Brannon. Surviving are two sons Bryan (Kristin) Walker, Nathan (Misty) Walker; very special grandchildren Maklyn Walker, Katlyn Walker, Harley Walker, Carmen Walker, Jesse Walker; a brother Randy (Dottie) Walker; two nephews Shane (LeAnn) Walker, Jason (Lori) Walker and their children. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday October 29, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday October 30, 2016 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Brian Poindexter. Burial will follow at Center Memorial Cemetery.
