Mary Ruth Prim Wood

Mary Ruth Prim Wood, 87, passed away Thursday November 10, 2016. She was born April 18, 1929 in Yadkin County to the late Lloyd Herman and Hazel Miller Prim. She was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Charles VonOesen, second husband Harold Wilder, sister Barbara Steelman, a brother Dean Prim. Surviving are her husband Felix Wood; a son Jerry (Brenda) Wishon; grandchildren Kellie (Wayne) Draughn, Cory (Becky) Wishon; great grandchildren Aaron Hunter, Laura Draughn, Ben Ward, Adam Wishon, Sam Wishon; three sisters Ruby Lawson, Ora Lee Sabra, Margaret Shore; sister-in-law Mayo Prim. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday November 12, 2016 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM following the visitation at the church by Rev. Will Hamric. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Richmond Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 2205 Richmond Hill Baptist Church Rd Boonville, NC 27011.
