Douglas Bert Swanner

Douglas Bert Swanner, 45, passed away November 10, 2016. He was born January 4, 1971 to the late Douglas Bert Swanner and Marsha Hartman Salyer. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step father David Salyer. Surviving are his wife Jenifer Buelin Swanner; his children Whitney Swanner (Ethan Mullins), Jonathan Swanner, Deana Shore (Mary Beth), Daniel Shore; grandchildren Soren Mullins, Lily Allison, Abby Allison. The family will receive friends from 12:30- 2:00 PM Sunday November 13, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday November 13, 2016 at New Beginning Baptist Church by Rev. Shane Hayes. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice, Woltz Hospice Home, and also to Melinda Cockerham, Kristi, and Candace for the loving care given to Mr. Swanner.
