Arnette Long Branon

Branon Yadkinville – Arnette Long Branon, 93, passed away November 14, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born April 12, 1923 in Yadkin County to the late James Henry Long and Ida Victoria Pinnix Long.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thad Henry Branon; three sisters; and three brothers.  Surviving are her children, Terry (Brenda) Brannon, Chris Brannon; grandchildren, Valerie (Jim) Gaddis, Jennifer Brannon, Anson (Kendra) Brannon; great grandchildren, Thomas Johnson, Patrick Johnson, Kaitlin Johnson, Bellamy Brannon, Walker Gaddis, Ronan Gaddis; and several nieces and nephews.  Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness by the Rev. Albert Everidge and the Rev. Eddie Mishoe.  Burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness.  The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice and Woltz Hospice Home for all the love and care shown to Arnette during her illness.  Memorials can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267, Yadkinville, NC  27055.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Branon family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
