Evelyn Jane Steinmiller Smitherman

Evelyn Jane Steinmiller Smitherman, 92, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away November 24, 2016. She was born October 23, 1924 to the late George Carlton and Lelah May Hellar Steinmiller. She graduated as Valedictorian of her class. Mrs. Smitherman was a wonderful cook and loved to cook for her family. She was an avid member of the Eastern Star organization.  She was preceded in death parents, her husband Rex Monroe Smitherman. Surviving are her daughter Nancy (Bob) Allred, her son Wes (Joy) Smitherman; grandchildren Ryan Allred, Brett Allred. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM November 30, 2016 at Baltimore United Methodist Church by Rev Nelson Puffenburger.
