Lois Theresa Billig Boyle

Mrs. Lois Theresa Billig Boyle, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Boyle was born October 18, 1936 in Hazelton, PA to Louis and Blanche Stempko Billig. She was originally from Beltsville, MD and retired to Sanford, NC to be closer to family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boyle was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Boyle; a daughter, Peg Thornton; and a son-in-law, Wayne Messersmith. She is survived by four children, Mary Messersmith, Kevin Boyle, Richard Boyle, and Timmy Boyle; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three siblings. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00AM Friday at December 9, 2016 at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Sanford, NC with Deacon Mark Westrick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.
