Pearl Wagoner Misenheimer, 100, passed away December 2, 2016. She was born October 4, 1916 to the late Jim Pearson Wagoner and Arkie Durham Wagoner. Mrs. Misenheimer was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She loved to crochet and cook for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Misenheimer and a daughter in law Jo Anne Misenheimer. Surviving are five sons Kenneth (Janice) Wagoner, Dewey (Beverly) Misenheimer, Dwight Misenheimer, Felix Misenheimer, Charles (Elizabeth) Misenheimer; step daughter Carol Mathis; grandchildren Lesli (Jeff) Elkins, Crystal Gordon, Todd (Pam) Misenheimer, Kevin (Crystal) Misenheimer, Jody (Angela) Misenheimer; five step grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday December 10, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday following the visitation in the Gentry Chapel by Rev. Paul Stewart, Evangelist Stephen Evans, Son Charles Misenheimer, and granddaughter Crystal Gordon. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank son Felix Misenheimer for the ten years he took care of his Mother and also the staff of Forsyth medical Center, Willowbrook Health care Center, Dr. John Williams, and Dianne Eads for the loving care given to Mrs. Misenheimer.
