Virginia Howell Seats

Virginia Howell Seats, 94, passed away December7, 2016. She was born in Forsyth County on June 16, 1922 to Joshua D and Elsie Barneycastle Howell. Raised in the Huntsville Community of Yadkin County. She married John M. Seats on June 5, 1945, who preceded her in death. They had four children John M. (Linda) Seats, Jr., Carolyn V. (Ronnie) McDonald, Linda S (Glenn) Gregory, Judy S. Sidden. She was blessed with seven grandchildren Cindy (Mike Jr.) Decker, Chris (Lisa) Seats, Michael McDonald (Fiancée Cheryl), Heather (Dr. Neal) McTighe, Megan Gregory, Kelly (Phillip) Callahan, Gaylon Gregory; seven great grandchildren Benjamin Seats, Maggie Decker, Logan McDonald, Lacey-Lee Callahan, Divia Stevenson, Cutter Callahan and Henry John Arthur McTighe. She is also survived by one brother Paul (Jackie) Howell and two sisters in law. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday December 11, 2016 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Billy Seats. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family wishes to thank Hospice of High Point and Westchester Manor for the care of (Miss Virginia). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the cemetery fund of Huntsville Baptist Church 4901 Courtney Huntsville Rd. Yadkinville, NC 27055.
