Paul Clara Willard

Boonville Mr. Paul C. Willard, 73, went to be with Jesus Monday, December 19, 2016 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mr. Willard was born October 27, 1943 in Yadkin County to the late Clara and Mamie Leamon Willard. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and the Yadkin Valley Cruisers. Mr. Willard retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 30 years of service. Mr. Willard is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Norma Long Willard; a daughter, Melanie (Dan) Parrish; four grandchildren, Coleman, Lakyn, Keaton, and Carson Parrish; one brother, Phillip (Vonda) Willard; three nephews, Michael (Teresa) Willard, Gary Willard, and Randy (Marti) Willard; and many special friends. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Friday, December 23, 2016 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Kenny Gooden officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2401 Nebo Road Yadkinville, NC 27055 or to Samaritans Purse Ministries.
