Annie Pearl Collins Warden

Yadkinville Mrs. Annie Pearl Collins Warden, 97, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. Warden was born November 23, 1919 in Yadkin County to Thomas and Cora Speer Collins. She was a member of Pilot View Friends Church and enjoyed working in her flowers. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warden was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Franklin Warden; one sister, Betty Cheek; and two brothers, Josh Collins and Warren G. Collins. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Doc) Dixon; a grandson, Michael (Sheila) Hawks; two great grandchildren, Justen (Crystal) Hawks and Tyler Hawks (Bailey Thomas); two sisters, Beulah Collins and Mary Gray Evans; and three brothers, Roger (Jane) Collins, Bruce Collins, and Bobby Collins. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00PM, Monday, December 26, 2016 at Pilot View Friends Church with Rev. Josh Williams, Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger, and Bro. Roger Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 prior to the service at the church. The family wishes to express a sincere appreciation to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care provided for Mrs. Warden.
