Leo Ray Driver

Yadkinville Mr. Leo Ray Driver, 76, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Driver was born May 7, 1940 in Yadkin County to Charlie and Ollie Ball Driver. He was an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents, Mr. Driver was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Driver. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Janet Baker; three children, Karen Eads, Ronald Driver, and Martha Hill; a step daughter, Kimberly Walker; six grandchildren, Noah Hill, Colin (Brooke) Bohannon, Kaitlin Bohannon, Zachary Bohannon, Hunter Walker, and Mackenzie Walker; two great grandchildren, Luke and Riley Bohannon; one brother, Russell Driver; and one sister-in-law, Ruby Driver. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00PM, January 6, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Roger Jennings and Rev. Hubert Wishon officiating. Military honors will be provided by Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267 Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mtn.
