Edith "Mae" Sizemore Shore

Boonville Mrs. Edith “Mae” Sizemore Shore, 86, was reunited with her husband in Heaven Friday, January 06, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mae was born May 19, 1930 in Yadkin County to Melvin and Hessie Collins Sizemore. She was a member of Longtown Methodist Church. Mae enjoyed reading and sewing. In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hoover Shore; one sister, Laura Lee Watson; and one brother, Tommy Sizemore. She is survived by three children, Benny (Pam) Shore, Danny (Rita) Shore, and Dennis (Marcia) Shore; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Billy (Margie) Sizemore and Jimmy Sizemore; a sister-in-law, June Hayes; and many nieces. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00PM, Monday, January 9, 2017 Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. JP Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at Longtown Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road Dobson, NC 27017.
