James Allen Branon

 Branon Yadkinville – James Allen Branon, 72, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017. He was born March 5, 1944 in Surry County to the late John Fletcher Branon and Dorothy Hudspeth Branon.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gracie Dawn Branon; niece, Kimberly Bridgett Branon.  Surviving are his children, Melissa Shore, Mark Branon, Tim (Melissa) Branon; grandchildren, Tyler Branon (Fiancée – Megan Boggs), Shawn Branon; brothers, Lowell Branon, Keith Branon; nieces and nephew, Cristy (Andy) Caudle, Lowell Chad Branon, Amy Findley Davis, Teresa Parks.  His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Branon family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
