Nellie Carlton Allen

Allen Yadkinville – Nellie Lucille Carlton Allen, 74, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born October 30, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Thad Carlton and Annie Mae Davis Carlton.  Surviving is her husband, Francis “Sonney” Allen; daughters, Rebecca (David) Knight, Annette Boggs; grandchildren, Shelby Boggs, Cassie Boggs, Amanda (Pete) Gonzalez, Angie Knight; great grandchildren, Christopher, Alannah, Kayne, P.J., Austin, Anthony, Alora, and Isabela.  Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Chris Hauser and Allen Martin.  Burial will follow at the Carlton Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Allen family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
