Alice Renegar Dobbins

Alice Renegar Dobbins, 84, passed away Tuesday January 17, 2017. She was born September 17, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late Charles Eugene and Emogene Trivette Renegar. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Grady William Dobbins; daughter Diane Dobbins; grandson Matthew Sizemore; two sisters Epsie Renegar, Martha Melton; two son in laws Ronda Driver and Spencer Brown. Surviving are her children Patsy (Tim) Sizemore, Christine (Lynn) Shore, Polly Driver, Charles Dobbins (Sherry Holcomb); grandchildren Bradley Brown, Scott Brown, Julia Brown, Karen Dobbins, Zach Sizemore, Jared Sizemore, Sara Holcomb, Michael Holcomb; five great grandchildren; brother Jim Renegar. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday January 19, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday January 20, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Randy Johnson and Rev. Johnny Arnold. Burial will follow at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Willowbrook Healthcare Center and Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital for the loving care given to Mrs. Dobbins.
