Jeffrey Dean Brooks

Winston Salem Mr. Jeffrey Dean Brooks, 60, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his home. Mr. Brooks was born January 10, 1957 in Forsyth County to James Franklin and Jewel Shore Brooks. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by a son, Phillip G. Brooks. He is survived by two sisters, Kay B. (Richard) Mast and Susan B. (Mike) Ferris; niece and nephew, R. Emmylou (Lance) Dooly and R. Mitchell Johnson and their families; one aunt, Janie (Ed) Holder; special friend, Sandy Waller; and several cousins and friends. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Asbury UMC cemetery with Rev. Mark Reavill officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at Asbury UMC Fellowship Hall.
