Amelia "Mozelle" Mickles Sale

Amelia “Mozelle” Mickles Sale, 89, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017. She was born November 3, 1927 in Yadkin County to the late John Curtis and Lula Bell York Mickles. She was a member of Forbush Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edward Davis “E D” Sale; grandson Justin Sale; three sisters and one brother. Surviving are her children: Shirley (Freddie) Doub, Fay (Emilio) Camacho, Charles (Debbie) Sale; grandchildren: Sara (Michael) St John, Julie (Chip) Leonard, Susan (Chad) Matthews, Laura (Lincoln) Hobson, Anna (Cody) Snow, Angela (Jason) Harmon, Alisha (Chris) Ballew; six great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Funeral will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Forbush Baptist Church by Rev. Scott Welch and Lincoln Hobson. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Willowbrook Alzheimer’s Unit 333 E Lee Avenue Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the nursing staff Hickory Hall at Willowbrook for the loving care given to Mrs. Sale for the last 1 ½ years.
