Charles "Landy" Weatherman

Weatherman   Jonesville- Charles "Landy" Weatherman, 80, of Jonesville, died Saturday, Jan. 28th, 2017. He was born May 8, 1936 in Yadkin County. He was married to Faye Vanhoy Weatherman who preceded him in death in 2014. Mr. Weatherman was a member of Mtn. View Baptist Church and was a previous member of West Yadkin Volunteer Fire Department. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Mallie Weatherman, a sister, Betty Carter, and two infant sisters.  Surviving are his son, Jody (Jodi) Weatherman of Ronda, his daughter, Landa (Dennis) Bell of Hamptonville, grandchildren, Bart (Stephanie) Bell of Hamptonville, Sarah Beth (Marcus) Fuller of Wake Forest, Maggie and Tate Weatherman of Ronda and a great-granddaughter, Finley Kate Bell.  He is also survived by a sister, Jean Barker of Roaring River and a brother, J.L "Jake" Weatherman of Jonesville. The family will receive friends Monday, January 30, 2017 from 1 - 2 p.m. at Gentry Family Funeral Services in Jonesville. Mr. Weatherman’s funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville. Burial will follow at Mountain View Baptist Church.
