Patricia Ann Macy Woodle

Hamptonville Mrs. Patricia Ann Macy Woodle, 78, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Ann was born March 17, 1938 in Yadkin County to Clay and Nellie Swaim Macy. She was faithfully married to Conard Woodle for 56 ½ years. Ann was a West Yadkin High School graduate. She worked for 25 years at Harmony Sewing and touched the lives of many children babysitting for 2 decades. Ann was a faithful, lifelong member of St. Paul UMC. She was a die-hard Carolina Tarheels fan and always put a smile on everyone’s face. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by niece, Andrea Hawkins. She is survived by her loving husband, Conard Roosevelt Woodle; a sister, Betty Vanhoy; two brothers, Gray (Mary) Macy and Ronnie Macy; several nieces and nephews; and although not her own children, but loved like her own, Hannah Brown Neal and Rhett Brown. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Thursday, February 2, 2017 at St. Paul UMC with Rev. Claudia Harrelson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
