Boyd Columbus Owens

Boyd Columbus Owens, 79, passed away Monday February 6, 2017. Mr. Owens was born November 5, 1937 to the late Rufus and Mable Jane Mayes Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patty Royall Owens; two sisters Kathrine Snyder, Georgie Stanley; a brother James Owens. Surviving are a son Danny (Michele) Owens; a daughter Becky Harris; grandchildren Jodi Owens (Bobby) Pardue, Dustin Parks, Nicole (Jeff) Luffman; great grandchildren Sarah Pardue, Draven Pardue, Chris Luffman, Kaleb Collins; sisters Peggy Boone, Mary Hutchins, Brenda Owenby; a brother Paul Owens; special friends Beth and Cody Hemric and their two daughters. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM Friday February 10, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Mr. Owens funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday February 10, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. George Evans. Burial will follow at Peace Haven Baptist Church Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Owens family.
