Frank Beamer

Beamer Yadkinville – Franklin “Frank” Delano Roosevelt Beamer, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 07, 2017 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. He was born September 27, 1930 in Surry County to the late Ed Richard Beamer and Martha Annie Hodge Beamer.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Reece Beamer; sisters, Betty Atkinson, Jenny Beamer; brothers, Ernest Beamer, Grady Beamer, Fred Beamer.  Surviving are his wife, Jane Holcomb Beamer; children, Jeff Beamer, Jerry (Jo) Beamer, Phillip (Joi) Beamer, Lisa (Tim) Luttrell, Andrea (Darren) Callicutt; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia (Jim) Forsyth; brothers, John Beamer, Billy (Laura) Beamer; several nieces and nephews.  His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Eric Morrison.  Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Beamer family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
