Lucy Peele Venable

Lucy Peele Venable, 91, passed away Sunday February 12, 2017. She was born January 1, 1926 in Surry County to the late Thomas “Tom” Peele and Myrtle Sneed Peele. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; two brothers. Surviving are her nieces Margie Peele Stone, Louise (Jimmy) Berrier, Tona (Doyle) Sturdivant, Juanita (George) Chriscoe; other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday February 15, 2017 at Flat Rock Baptist Church cemetery by Rev. Jeff Boles. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Venable. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the family.
