Fulp Yadkinville- Mr. William Ernest Fulp, 77, of Old US 421 Highway East passed away Monday February 13, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. He was born June 2, 1939 in Forsyth County to the late Ernest Woodrow and Nannie Bynum Grubbs Fulp. Mr. Fulp was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 36 years of service and was a member of Forbush Baptist Church. He was a dedicated fireman for 25 years in Wallburg and Boyscout Leader for Troop #109 in Wallburg for 25 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fulp was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kimberly Reece; a sister, Patricia Fulp; and a brother, Richard Fulp. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Jean Carter Fulp, of the home; children, Sandra (Robbie) Zimmerman, Randy Fulp, James Fulp; step-children, Regina (Dustin) Clontz, Sandy (Ken) Pittman; grandchildren, Sally (Bradley) Meredith, Marley Joon Fulp; step-grandchildren, Corey Brill, Garrett Blevins, Chase & Carter Pittman, Jodi (Erik) Ulring, Shannon (Brandon) Hire, Kelly (Brian) Yokley ; great-grandchildren, Reece, Connor, and Audrey Meredith; step-great-grandchildren, Ethan Ulring, Lucas Hire, Brianna and Peyton Yokley; brothers, Royce (Jan) Fulp, Donald (Velma) Fulp, and Ronald Fulp, and a sister-in-law, Jean Fulp. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His graveside service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, 2051 Old Hollow Road, Walkertown, NC 27051, by Rev. Joe Souther and Rev. Grady Trivette. The family requests that memorials may be made to Kate B.
