Opal Wooten Wehner

Wehner Yadkinville – Opal Elizabeth Wooten Wehner, 94, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born November 7, 1922 in Yadkin County to the late Walter Wooten and Dixie Roupe Wooten.  Opal retired from Western Electric after 40 years of service.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman Wehner; sister, Virginia Harrison.  Surviving are her son, Lee Cornatzer; step-children, Lynn Maginnis, Tim Wehner;  grandchildren, Shannon (Kendall) Lankford; great grandchildren; Zelan Anderson, Hailey Lankford, Graham Lankford.  Her memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Nelson Spaulding, and the Rev.
