Tony Lofton Harris

Harris Yadkinville – Tony Lofton Harris, 76, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. He was born March 26, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late Willard Austin Harris and Cleo King Harris.  Tony enjoyed racing and working with his boys when they were racing, it was always a family tradition for him.  He also enjoyed spending time eating and hanging out at Gunter’s with all of his friends.  Surviving are Nellie Harris and their children, Scott Harris, Rock Harris, Jim Windsor and Debra Rivera; grandchildren, Austin Harris, Isaac Harris, Jasmin Kivett, Carlos Rivera; great grandchild, Eli Kivett.  His graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Cemetery by the Rev Howard Wagoner and Roy Eddleman.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Harris family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
