Boonville Mrs. Allene Jester Caudle, 88, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2017 at Willowbrook Healthcare. Mrs. Caudle was born September 4, 1928 to L. Cephus and Connie Ferguson Jester. She was a faithful member of Mount Nebo Church of Christ. Mrs. Caudle was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and worked on the farm along with her husband. She loved to cook and work in her vegetable gardens. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Caudle was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Miles Alvin Caudle; a grandson, Ricky Caudle; a brother, L.C. Jester, Jr. (Agnes); and a sister-in-law, Eulala Steelman (Vestal). She is survived by two sons, Allen (Linda) Caudle and J.D. Caudle (Samantha); two daughters, Linda (Allen) Willard and Mariena (Jon) Carroll; ten grandchildren, Tim Caudle (Paula), Terry (Tani) Caudle, Tonya (Aaron) Livengood, Tammy (Terry) Chipman, Tina (Jerry) Wishon, Travis (Felicia) Caudle, Andy (Cristy) Caudle, Randy (Angela) Caudle, Ashley Carroll, and Alicia Carroll; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, C.A. (Betty) Jester; four nieces; and one nephew. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, March 2, from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00Am, Friday, March 3, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Brother Lawrence Warden and Brother Steve Johnson. Burial will follow at Mount Nebo Church of Christ cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, SECU Hospice Home of Yadkin 320 W.
