N. Myrtle Beach Ms. Amanda Morgan Williams, 29, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. Ms. Williams was born September 14, 1987 in Surry County to Paul Johnson Williams and Rhonda Ball Wrenn. She was a beautiful soul that always carried a smile, and expressed her fun loving personality. Amanda was blessed with an amazing artistic talent; drawing, painting, basket weaving, jewelry making, and making pottery were just a few of her many talents. She enjoyed kayaking, and was an avid animal lover. Amanda was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Ava Madison Short; grandmother, Rose Ball; and grandfather, James Williams. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Howard (Nancy) Ball and Lois Williams; uncles, Tony (Kara) Ball and Marty (Misty) Ball; aunt, Beth (Volker) Mueller; several cousins; boyfriend, Sean Murray; special friend, Steven Wooley; her feline companion, Luna; and her K-9 companion Bree. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Jonesville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Monday, March 6, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Jonesville with Rev. Roger Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkinville cemetery.
