William Henry Poindexter

Advance Mr. William Henry Poindexter, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Bermuda Commons. Mr. Poindexter was born April 29, 1934 in Yadkin County to Posie and Alice Melie Poindexter. In addition to his parents, Mr. Poindexter was preceded in death by five sisters, Florence Ella, Stella Mae, Alma Jane, Cora Lee and Hazel Poindexter; and six brothers, Ralph Ray, Wildon Lee, Turnie Grant, Ulius Washington, Lester Gray, and John Leak Poindexter. He is survived by many beloved family members. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Bowman officiating.
