Linda Faw Walker

Boonville Mrs. Linda Jane Faw Walker, 72, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Walker was born June 30, 1944 in Wilkes County to Robert and Annie Bell Bauguess Faw. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, “Nana”, and great grandmother. Mrs. Walker was a member of Charity Baptist Church. She loved to spend time with her family and be outside in her garden. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Megan Wood; and fourteen siblings. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wrenn Walker; five children, Roger (Jodie) Walker, Kim (Atwell) Cook, Dawn Wood (Mark), Michael (Angie) Walker, and Wrenda (Emily) Walker; grandchildren, Blake (Desiree), Corey (Erin), Nichole (Brandon), Mindy (Travis), Brandon (Amber), Matthew, Joe, Alice, Timothy, Caleb (Brittany), Daniel (Destiny), Hannah, and Samantha; great grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, Ethan, Hunter, and Brianna; one sister, Patsy Edminston; her K-9 Companion, Oreo; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00AM, Tuesday, March 14, 2107 at Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Eddy Driver and Travis Painter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service at the church.
