Decca Joan Hanes

Yadkinville Ms. Decca Joan Hanes, 64, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her home. Ms. Hanes was born March 22, 1952 in Iredell County to Joseph and Marie Gough Hanes. She was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hanes was preceded in death by her infant brother, Joel Dean Hanes; and a son-in-law, Kimbrough Caudill Watts. She is survived by her daughter, Deanna Watts; and a granddaughter, Kacie (Andrew) Holbrook. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. David Kiser officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sandy Springs Baptist Church, 2930 Sandy Springs Rd; Harmony, North Carolina 28634. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hanes family.
