Glenda Sue Davis Atkins

Glenda Sue Davis Atkins, 70, passed away Tuesday march 21, 2017. She was born December 4, 1946 in Dunklin County Missouri to the late Earl “Slim” Davis and Ruby Mae Gabriel Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Juanita Capps, Evelyn Witham; a brother J D Davis. Surviving are her husband of 51 years Jerald Henry Atkins; a daughter Jona Atkins. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM April 1, 2017 at Jonesville First United Methodist Church. Her memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM following the visitation by Rev. Judy Davis and Chaplain Greg Anderson. In lieu of flowers memorials to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Western Carolina Chapter 4600 Park Rd. Ste. 250 Charlotte, NC 28209. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Chatham Nursing and Rehab and Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Atkins.
