Nellie Willard Vestal

Nellie Willard Vestal, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, friend, and a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. She was born on May 14, 1929 to the late Joe and Viola Speer Willard. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Sunday Vestal; one granddaughter Robyn Renee Myers; two sisters Jessie Matthews, Mary Snow; two brothers James Willard and John Willard. Surviving are three children Harold (Cindy) Vestal, Brenda (Donnie) Brown, Linda (Charles) Ashe; one sister Marie Cheek; five grandchildren Robert (Crystal) Myers, Kevin (Angie) Brown, Keith (Marta) Vestal, Karen (a special friend Jason) Brown, Julie (Kevin) Callaway; eleven great grandchildren; two great –great granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Pilot View Friends Meeting. A funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday March 28, 2017 at Pilot View Friends Meeting by Rev. Josh Williams and Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 before the service at the church. Burial will follow at Pilot View Friends Meeting Church Cemetery.
