Jerry Wayne Ring

Hamptonville Mr. Jerry Wayne Ring, 66, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Ring was born November 28, 1950 in Stokes County to James and Lodemia Pinnix Luffman. He was a member of Mtn. View Baptist Church. Mr. Ring enjoyed mowing hay, riding his tractors and spending time with his dogs. In addition to his father, Mr. Ring was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Simmons Ring; and his grandparents, Spencer and Earlsell Vanhoy Pinnix. He is survived by his mother, Lodemia Luffman; three sisters, Kay (Earl) Tulbert, Yvonne Cline, and Patty Jo (Tony_ Woodruff; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00PM, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Mtn. View Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tucker and Pastor David Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00PM prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. View Baptist Church, 1232 Mountain View Church Rd, Hamptonville, NC 27020.
