East Bend Mr. Abe Lee Heath, Jr. 78, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Heath was born September 7, 1940 in Stokes County to Abe and Mina Tuttle Heath. He was a member of Forbush Friends Meeting and retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. In addition to his parents, Mr. Heath was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Mounce Heath; a brother, Jimmy Heath; and a sister, Betty Collins. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jetty Heath; children, Susan Nelson, Barry (Debbie) Heath, Kevin (Amy) Heath, Edward (Cherie) Adams, and Karen (David) Wooten; grandchildren, Brittaney Cooper, Courtney (Peter) Hartmann, Lisa Cooper, Austin Heath, Kayla Heath, Dylan Hutchens, Nicole (Ernest) Miller, Brandi Heath, Mackenzie Wooten (fiancée, Adam Mitchell), Chandler Wooten, Brandon (Megan) Adams, and Ryan Adams; great grandchildren, Emmaleigh Dobbins and Natalie Miller; sisters, Lillian Abbott and Peggy Mabe; and brothers, Larry (Betty Sue) Heath, Jerry (Wanda) Heath, and Rayvone (Mary Lou) Heath; and special friends, Gary and Tammy McCormick and Pattie and Grover Delph. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Forbush Friends Meeting with Rev. Ray Lamb, Rev. Jake Penley, Rev. Kenny Heath, Rev. Brian Poindexter, and Rev. James Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
