Abigail Elizabeth Barron

Hamptonville Ms. Abigail Elizabeth Barron, 21, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021. Abigail was born November 24, 1999 in Davie County to Chad & Anne Barron. She grew up in Hamptonville and later moved to Raleigh. She was a graduate of NC State University with a degree in History & Anthropology and she dreamed of being a Museum Curator. Abigail enjoyed traveling, science fiction books and movies, and pottery. Abigail was a wonderful artist. She was strong but kind, and could make the most common things fun. Abigail was an amazing sister and was everyone’s favorite sibling. In addition to her parents, Abigail is survived by her three sisters, Sophia, Rachel, and Olivia Barron; her three brothers, Micah, Abraham, and William Barron; her grandfathers, Ken Farrington and Mike Barron; and aunt Wanda (Jim) Jordan. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00AM at Hunting Creek Friends Meeting with Josh Gardner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Yadkin Christian Ministries, 117 Woodlyn Dr. Yadkinville, NC 27055. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Barron family.
