Addie Hoots Beeker

Addie Hoots Beeker, 81, passed away on Monday December 10, 2018 at Camden Health in Greensboro. She was born in Yadkin County on July 3, 1937; the daughter of the late Augustine and Eva Belle Reavis Hoots. She worked in the Textile Industry as a Knitter. In addition to her parents, Addie was preceded in death by three of her brothers; Gerald, Herbert and Carl Hoots and a faithful companion, Noodles. She is survived by her children, Wanda Harrington (Mickey), Tommy G. Poindexter (Wadonna), Danny Atkins, Henry Atkins and Sharron Setzer (Conley); seven grandchildren, Shayne, Joshua, Matthew, Jacob, Tyler, Sara and Megan; eight great grandchildren; two brothers; John and Jim Hoots. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Gentry Funeral Chapel Yadkinville with Pastor J. R. Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Deep Creek Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
