Albert Martin Tilley, Jr

Albert Martin Tilley, Jr, 75, of Oak Ridge, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Mr. Tilley was born on November 4, 1949, in Surry County and was the son of the late Albert Martin Tilley, Sr and Virginia Allen Darnell Tilley. Martin was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and spending time at the beach. He was a graduate of Elkin High School and Catawba College. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Tilley was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Tilley Reynolds and her husband Paul. Those left to cherish Mr. Tilley’s memory include his wife, Margaret Cook Tilley, stepson, Douglas Shannon Phillips; brother, Barry M. Tilley and his wife Carolyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life service will be held on February 8, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM in Vogler's Chapel at Forsyth Memorial Park/Dignity in Winston Salem.
