Alene Moxley Shore

Hamptonville – Alene Moxley Shore, 84, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025. She was born June 24, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late Farris Roby Moxley and Minnie Ruth Wagoner Moxley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Shore; sisters, Betty Lou Haire, Tanya Rynn Hemric. Alene is survived by her children, Shannon (Dana) Shore, Michael (Belvia) Shore; grandchildren, Ben Shore, Maggie (Travis) Shore, Mishon (Landon Ingram) Shore; great grandchildren, Summer, Aubrie, Charleston, Memphis; brothers, Ricky (Peggy) Moxley, David (Robin) Moxley; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Mitchell’s Chapel Church by the Rev. Joey Moore. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mitchell’s Chapel Church.
