Alice Darlene Norman Blalock

Alice Darlene Norman Blalock, age 78, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2019. She was born December 25, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late J.B. and Edith Norman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother George Norman. She is survived by her children, Melissa (Jeff) Doub, Melinda (Eddie) Matthews; grandchildren Amanda (Joe) Williams, Nicholas (Tori) Doub; great grandchild Cam Arlie Doub; brother James (Veda) Norman; sisters Carol (David) Rockett, Gay Nell (Johnny) Choplin, LuRae (Larry) Doub. Darlene enjoyed working is her flowers and yard work. She retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company after 30 plus years of service. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at Gentry Family Funeral Service. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Gentry Family Chapel.
