Allen Hauser

Allen Hauser, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He was born September 18, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Walter Clyde Hauser and Ida Maude Draughn Hauser. In addition to his parents Mr. Hauser was proceeded in death by his wife Violet Lee Cranfill Hauser after 56 years of marriage; sister Minnie Wooten; brother W.C. Hauser; daughter-in-law Nancy Hauser. Mr. Hauser was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to turkey shoots, gardening, farming, and loved being outdoors. Mr. Hauser retired from RJR in 1989 with over 31 years of service. He was a member of West Yadkin Volunteer Fire Department, where he served on the Board of Directors for a number of years. He is survived by his daughter Susan Bobbitt (Junior); son Rocky Hauser; grandchildren Christopher Bobbitt (Sandra), Courtney Baity (Ben), Amanda Hauser, Jaimie Kasopsky (Brooks); great-grandchildren Emilee and Ethan Bobbitt, Olivia Baity, Emerson Kasopsky. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 2, 2019, 2:00 PM at Flat Rock Baptist Church. He will lie-in-state from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gentry Family Funeral Service. Memorial may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church Capital Campaign, 3800 Flat Rock Chruch Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020.
