Jonesville - Mr. Allen Henry Wagoner, 93, of US Highway 21 passed away peacefully Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born November 26, 1930 in Yadkin County to the late Hubert and Gladys Swaim Wagoner. Mr. Wagoner was the founder and owner of Wagoner Equipment in which he sold and delivered Combines to many area farmers. He also spent his life working in the fields and farming with his family. Mr. Wagoner was a member of Swaims Baptist Church where he served the church faithfully as a Deacon, Chairman of the Deacons, and a Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Shaw Wagoner, and by his sisters, Doris and Shirley, and by his brothers, Claude and Steve. Surviving are his sons, Tommy Allen (Martha) Wagoner, Paul Franklin Wagoner; grandchildren, Josh (Erica) Wagoner, Cassi (Ron) King, Russ (Andrea) Wagoner, Emily (Kyle) Weatherman; great-grandchildren, Arden Wagoner, Curan Wagoner, Colton King, Piper King, Mabry King. Luke Wagoner, Corbin Wagoner, Ellie Wagoner, Kannon Weatherman, and Saylor Weatherman. A Private Service was held at Swaims Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to either Swaims Baptist Church or Swaims Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Swaims Church Road, Hamptonville , NC 27020.
