Alma Jean Holcomb Minton

Jonesville Mrs. Alma Jean Holcomb Minton, 78, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Minton was born December 20, 1942 to Raymond and Margie Tilley Holcomb. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Minton was preceded in death by her husband, Ben “Junior” Minton; a son, Marty Lee Minton; a son-in-law, Danny Spencer; a grandchild, Brian Shane Minton; two sisters, Kathy Winters and Miranda Triplett; and three brothers, Jimmy, Jerry, and Raymond Holcomb. She is survived by two children, Tammy (David) Nance and Rita Swaim; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeremy) Norman, Chris (Amanda) Spencer, Shannon Spencer, BJ (Bridgett) Holbrook, and Brittany Minton; great grandchildren, Taylor, Trinity, McKinley, Vayda, Micah, Mackenzee, Dakota, Noah, Whitney, and Alexandra; a brother, Bonson (Marie) Holcomb; and a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Pastor Jonathan Casstevens and Rev. Don Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Beulahland Non-Denominational Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Joann and Mike Berrong and the many nieces and nephews for their love and support.
