Almond Greg Worley

Almond Gregory Worley (Greg) of Yadkinville, NC formerly of Kenly, NC passed away Saturday March 3, 2018 at his home.   Greg was born in Wilson County on June 15, 1959 to the late Almond (Junior) Worley and Margie Renfrow Worley.  Surviving are his sons Zack Worley of Harmony, NC, and Nick Worley of Boone, NC; a sister Pam Worley Lane and husband Steve of Selma; and a niece Amanda Lane. Greg was a champion bull rider, team roper and horse trainer.  He was born again and a faithful follower of Christ.  Of all Greg’s accomplishments he valued his sons as two of his greatest blessings.  Greg will be remembered for his love of the Lord, compassion for people and his wonderful sense of humor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 109 Ivydale Rd. Harmony, NC. Follow the dirt rd. to the arena.  Please bring chairs and umbrellas depending on the weather.  Reception to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gentry Family Funeral Service 5108 US Hwy 601 N  Yadkinville, NC 27055  to help with the funeral expenses.
