Alvis Ray Caudle

Alvis Ray Caudle,84, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020.  He was born January 25, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late Thurman Caudle and Vada Shore Caudle.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jordan Caudle; five brothers; Leo, Charlie, Vernon, David and Seamon, a sister, Erline and a grandson; Aaron. Surviving is his children, Diane Tetrick (Oliver), Judy Paloalto (Serafin), Joyce Hathcock (Roger),  Janet Sizemore (Donald), Rhonda Medley (Lester) and their mother, Lorene Holleman Caudle, Ruby Bailey and Charlie Cleary (Pat); 7 grandchildren; Sara (Philip), Nathan, Noah, Brent (Stephanie), Kristy (Brian), Davey (Megan) and Becky, 10 great grandchildren; Luke, Isabella, Isaiah, Lilianna, Ryan, Emily, Carson, Adaline, Sadie and Graham. Mr. Caudle attended Mtn View Baptist Church, retired as self-employed Mechanic and from Tyson Foods. He loved gardening, and farming and eating chocolate with his grandchildren.  His service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Mtn View Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Tucker and Mr. Russell Nixon.  Mr. Caudle will lie in state from 1:00 till service time at the church. The family will be at his daughter’s residence, Judy Paloalto, 1128 Rose Lane, Hamptonville, NC. Memorials may be made to Mtn View Baptist Church cemetery fund or to one’s choice.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Caudle family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
