Mrs. Amanda “Mandy” Craney Cranfill, 48, unexpectantly passed away February 3, 2025. She was born in Point Pleasant, NJ, January 2, 1977 to Thomas Joseph Craney and Dolores Mutter Craney Verderrosa. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Michael Craney; and her dad, John Verderrosa. Mandy was 110% “Mama Bear” to her family, she was involved and supportive of her children in every way. She and Todd had an open-door policy to all kids that were in need and they have so many more kids they consider their own throughout the years. Mandy was co-owner/operator of Johnny’s Body Works in Harmony. She was an active member of Harmony Volunteer Fire Department until her health began to decline. Mandy loved Rodeo’s, sewing, and her passion was her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, Todd Cranfill; her children, Jeremy (Savana), Braxton (Hallie), Matthew (Jennie), Madison (Lawton), Casey, Gracie; the light of her life, her granddaughter, Caroline; sister, Victoria Craney; brother, Jason (Marissa) Verderrosa; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Perry and Jean Cranfill. A celebration of life will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Olin Church on Olin Loop Rd., Olin, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Value of 1 Rodeo Association.
