Ann Eldridge Branon

Branon Winston-Salem - Laura “Ann” Eldridge Branon, 85, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was born February 2, 1933 in Surry County to the late Currie Lee and Fairy Lee Adams Eldridge.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Robert Page Branon.  Surviving is her daughter, Cindy Ann Branon Smith; granddaughter, Whitney Page Branon Smith; and granddog, Beaker Smith; special friends, Kathy and Lanny Hodge, Lisa Poston, and her partners in crime, Emily and Annie at Heritage Woods.  In addition, she is survived by a loving brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Christine Eldridge, and sisters, Patsy (Doughton) Thompson and Betsy Lyon as well as several nieces and nephews.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date by the Rev. Sheree Jones.  The family would like to thank the staff at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the love and care shown to Ann during her stay.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Kate B.
