Anne Elizabeth Renigar Doub

Anne Elizabeth Renigar Doub of East Bend (born to Harry and Lucille Ferguson Renigar, raised from age five by her grandparents Will and Malinda Renigar and aunt Margaret Renigar who adopted her) died Saturday, March 2, 2024 at age 100. She was married to the late Archie Doub, was a member of Stony Knoll United Methodist Church, and was a retired teacher’s assistant at East Bend School. Anne enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels until she was 92, and was a friend to all. Also preceding her in death were a son, David Doub; toddler sister, Nancy Jean; and brothers Jack and Bill Renigar. Surviving are a daughter Melinda (Danny) Weatherford, sons Neil (Phyllis) and Tim (Brenda) Doub; grandchildren Amelia (Ben) Stansberry, Rachel Weatherford, Brandon Doub, Camryn and Cannon Doub; great grandchildren Reagan Stansberry, Olivia and Noah Doub; and sister Nita Thomas.

A funeral service for Anne will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 3:00PM at Stony Knoll United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on March 4, 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local Meals on Wheels or Stony Knoll United Methodist Church, 2340 Flint Hill Rd, East Bend, NC 27018. Gentry Family Funeral Service in East Bend is serving the Doub family.
